Halloween events run at the weekends from 5th October and then everyday from 26th October to 3rd November to coincide with the Somerset School holidays.

Join the Giant Pumpkin Trail – With Treats to Be Won!
Once you’ve escaped the caves (phew!), it’s time to take on the Giant Pumpkin Trail. Follow the clues, solve the spooky mystery and win Halloween treats for the kids! It’s frightfully good fun for the whole family.
Get Spooked in the 4D Cinema
Next, dive into a new dimension with our Halloween-themed 4D film – spooky, silly and suitable for all brave adventurers aged 3+. Then uncover the real mysteries of Wookey Hole in the Museum, where you can handle ancient bones and watch real-life cave diving footage of explorers delving deep into the darkest corners of Wookey Hole.
Creepy Crawly Circus & Fancy Dress Fun
🎃 See the spectacular Halloween Circus Show – a 30-minute live performance full of spooky stunts, tricks and treats, performed daily and exclusive to Wookey Hole.
🧙♀️ Dress to impress! The Witch of Wookey Hole loves it when visitors dress up. Don your creepiest costume and enter our daily Fancy Dress Competition at 2:30pm in the Theatre – there are prizes to be won!
Let Off Steam (or Scream!) in Soft Play
Little monsters can burn off energy in our giant soft play, while grown-ups can grab a coffee and take five – you’ve earned it.
