The Comedy Cavern is back at Wookey Hole for three dates in 2025 providing fabulous nights of banter, toe-curling gags, and side-splitting laughter. Get your booking in early for Friday 18th April, Friday 12th September, and Friday 19th December.

Ria Lina is a touring Filipina comedian, actress and writer. TV and Radio includes QI, Live At The Apollo, Have I Got News For You, Pointless, The News Quiz, Worlds Most Dangerous Roads, Brain Reaction, The Now Show and Mock The Week. Ria was named as one of The Evening Standard’s ‘Hottest Comedians You Should Be Watching Now’.

Throughout her stand-up career Ria has taken five shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with her work tackling topics such as autism, topical news and racial identity. Her career stretches from stage and screen, to radio and the occasional ukulele – all in a unique style described by ‘The Scotsman’ as ‘fearless , provocative and very funny’.
A prolific writer, Ria has written for the Ladyboys of Bangkok ‘Fantasy & Feathers’ and ‘Glamorous Amorous’ tours, and wrote and acted in ITV2 comedy sketch show ‘Meet the Blogs’. She has also written and presented her own Channel 4 documentary that revealed the truth behind the myths that surround East Asian women in Britain.
As an actor Ria has performed in Lovestruck High, East Mode with Nigel Ng, and Christie.
Samantha Day
Samantha is the sassy, stand-up mum of six Millennials/Gen Zers. Her comedy career kicked off about six years ago, after three decades as an accountant and single mum. Now she's been freed from the city, she's really hit her stride, as a truly original act who's progressing fast on the circuit.
Last year, Samantha's sold-out Edinburgh Fringe show, "The Booby Trap" (which, as the title suggests, is all about boobs) was nominated for the prestigious Amused Moose Award. And the year before that, she won New Comedian of the Year at the Southport Comedy Festival.
"When I told my kids that I'd got into the final they said they were "shook", that their minds were "literally blown" and that they were "done with me flipping their pancakes". I'm pleased that I've made them so proud."
According to her kids: "If her current material is some kind of attempt not to embarrass herself and us, then she's totally whiffed it. It's a dumpster fire."
Patrick Smith
Pat Smith has a unique talent for finding humor in everyday life. His quick-witted approach to storytelling brings to life his day-to-day experiences in a way that is both relatable and hilarious.
From lighthearted jokes about his own appearance to the antics of his daily routine, Pat weaves a tapestry of comedy that’s sure to leave audiences in stitches. And let’s not forget his wife, who’s always ready to keep him in check—because what’s comedy without a loving critic at home, right?
Pat’s knack for humor and his gift for making audiences laugh has earned him accolades and recognition in the comedy world.
Your Host: Cerys Nelmes
Cerys has had a very colourful and eventful life which she loves talking about to make people laugh.
She performs her comedy in a story telling style with a West Country charm that is easy to warm to.
Cerys has worked very hard to forge a strong career in the comedy industry.
She is a leading mc on the comedy circuit, working for major UK clubs and UK charity events. Cerys has a fantastic stage presence and her audience interaction is flawless.
Cerys performs all over the world for the military and was the last comedian ever to perform in Afghanistan before they withdrew!
