After a year of meticulous research and development, the team has made a discovery set to revolutionise perfumery forever—introducing Eau de Guano, a scent inspired by the raw power of the Mendip Hills and formulated with a truly unique ingredient: bat poo.
This innovative fragrance is the result of a collaboration with Geraldo Q’uattel II, Somerset’s leading perfumier, who has harnessed the natural properties of poo (also known as guano) to create something never before seen in the world of scent.
“Ambergris, a highly prized ingredient in luxury perfumery, originates from whale intestines, making it both rare and valuable,” explains Q’uattel. “But when was the last time you saw a whale in Weston or Brean? Wookey Hole challenged me to find an alternative, and upon closer examination, we discovered that bat guano possesses similar olfactory fixative properties—an incredible breakthrough.”
But it’s not just the fixative properties that make Eau de Guano remarkable. The scent is enriched with natural pheromones, making it one of the most captivating and potent fragrances ever created.
